coffee & commitment

abby, my aforementioned coffee barista from the little coffee shop downstairs, caught me in the act of an unforgivable crime. she saw me walk past with a starbucks coffee in my hand.

im so sorry abby.

i don’t even like starbucks. i don’t know what i was thinking.

its your coffee i love.

did she have like a terrorised face?

was she weeping?

you don't know, maybe she was happy that you were seeing other people. or investigating truth independently.

i'm just saying.

leila it was a look of disguist!

i dont think she's as open minded as we'd like to hope.

whats worse is that i DROPPED the starbucks coffee anyway!! all over the floor. gone. didnt even get to drink it. thats what really spurred this post. guilt. karma. im such a bad person!

actually, i was a bit disloyal myself today. see, traditionally i go to nectar in the mornings at uni to get my espresso. mainly because its the closest thing to me when i enter uni, and i need the caffeine to get up the library stairs.

but today...

i went to picassos. like picassos is even BETTER than nectar. its just that i broke tradition. and all because the espresso boy at picassos is marginally better looking than that at nectar.

i agree with you, tash. you dropping the starbucks coffee was a sign that you had brought the bad karma upon yourself. starbucks sucks. long live abby!

oh tash i totally hear ya sista.

i always get my coffee from the coffee shop around the corner, but on occassion i go the bakery coz there is little time (you know the crazy children. i can keep away too long)
then when i walk back to work i actually put my coffee, like, on the side of me that is not in view to the coffee shop, so as to make sure my coffee man does not see me, with another coffee in my hand.

If i ever see you with another cheap, sleezy multinational barista you're going to be glad that they make their cups out of cardboard and not ceramics. You really scolded my heart and now my love for you is brewing no more. Just so you know i had myself a long, black tea last night (with two sugars)! Uh-huh, how do you like your own medicine? And it was EARL GREY, yeah, you remember the Earl don't you?

no abby, not EARL!!!!
