its home time and a 4 year old boy is putting on his shoes. he turns to shirls for guidance;

4 yr old: um which foot does this shoe go on
shireen: [points to left foot]
4 yr old: [puts shoe on left foot] um and shireen..
shireen: yes?
4 yr old: which foot does THIS shoe go on [picks up other shoe]
shireen: [trying to be funny] that one [points again to left foot]
4 yr old: oh. [thinks] oh okay. [thinks]
shireen: [waits]
4 yr old: well i think im going to need a bigger shoe..
