jaded [jad·ed]

adj.
1. worn out, wearied, or lacking enthusiasm; exhausted.
2. cynically insensitive; made callous by experience.

i was feeling jaded this morning. as you do on a thursday morning.
i was weary and lacking lustre, but then john legend sung to me:

we're just ordinary people
we don't know which way to go
we're just ordinary people
this time we'll take it slow

i think maybe he's a little jaded too. but it's still probably sound advice. time with tash just got slower.
