the village

you know this film was marketed remarkably wrong.

it's an oldie i know, but i just stumbled across it.

i had really bad expectations (if any at all), but when i accidentally found myself watching it last night, i was pleasantly surprised.

sure its not a thriller, but there is a thrilling twist.

without spoiling anything, it presents an awesome concept. an unexpected commentary on utopia, justice, fear and love. it really made me think about our reality. how society can dictate every inch of who we are, and we don't even realise it.

anyway, glad i stumbled across it and gave it a go.

lesson: never judge a movie by it's trailer.
