the burqini has made it's debut on Australian beaches.. and you just have to google the word "burquini" to see the controversy it has sparked.
it's hilarious that people are getting so riled up over the fact that Islamic women are simply finding innovative ways to practice their Faith, while immersing themselves into Australian culture – exactly as society had been preaching. so why are people being so negative? would a woman parading naked around the beach have sparked the same sort of controversy? absolutely not. man our society is flipped.

i think its great. can we please be a little bit more open minded people.
the beach is there to share.

um i think the "ini" part is the controversy, as in, burqa + bikini is ridiculous because the point of the burqa is to be modest and i guess "unattractive" and that mixed with a bikini, which is the complete opposite of modesty, is absurd! BUT this burqini is still modest, so i think its fine and shouldnt be controversial, sweet muslim ladies swimming :)
