i've now just stumbled across the third time in the last few weeks where someone has sms'ed me and said:

"tash, you're funny. tell me a joke."

of course i'm flattered. i'm not overly suprised. i am quite funny.
but to spin a joke out on the spot, over sms, without the accompanying voice tone, hand gestures and facial expressions? people. i am not a machine.
