my blog is suffering from MCS

my theory goes that your blog is a microcosm, an online reflection if you like, of your life. in times of order, the blog gets regular updates. in times of joy, the posts are upbeat and frequent. in periods of popularity, the blog gets comments and praise. but when you're busy.. the blog gets, well nothing.

when i'm busy, my blog gets less than nothing. it gets a puzzled "time with what.. oh that."

it's sad, but the blog becomes likened to a middle child. it gets neglected. it's just not important enough. it doesn't demand your attention. it's just – well – in between.

and it's not until someone starts with the "marcia, marcia, marcia" that you realise what a neglectful parent you've been.
