change one: quitting the job
i wasn't the most attached corporate lawyer out there, but it still wasn't the easiest decision. i only lasted 17 months in private practice. is that a little embarassing? maybe. but i'm actually quite proud of myself!
change two: relocating to the middle east
so, this is the big one. along with the job abandonment came the search for new career opportunities. having an interest in the middle east and it's melting pot of exciting issues, my desintation was clear. i applied for a masters program in international and comparative law at the AUC, and that was it. the decision was made.
change three: new blog look
well, this change was a natural step in my head. new country, new blog look - makes sense, yes?
